How it works

Three steps. The third one is just pressing a button.

It lives in the Google Sheets sidebar, next to the spreadsheet you dispatch from. You point it at your tab and columns once. After that, every load is these three.

Drop in the rate con

One rate con at a time. A PDF, a scan, or a photo off your phone; OCR handles the last two on its own.

AI reads it like a dispatcher

Every field off the load, whatever layout the broker used. No per-broker setup, no fixed template to match.

Review, confirm, done

Each value lands in your column, on your tab. Low-confidence reads are flagged for you to check. Approve, and the row is written.

Built for the way dispatch actually works

Your spreadsheet stays the boss

Dispatch Sheets AI doesn't ask you to migrate anywhere. It adapts to the sheet your fleet already runs on.

Any broker, any layout

TQL, C.H. Robinson, Coyote, Landstar, the one-truck brokerage you've never heard of. The AI reads the document, not a template.

Templates match your columns

Map fields once ("Total Pay" to column E, "PU Date" to C) and every next rate con lands exactly where your sheet expects it.

Your formatting, kept

A new row picks up the look of the ones above it: your bold, your colours, your date and money formats. It reads like you typed it in.

Nothing writes without you

The parsed row is shown for review first. Low-confidence fields are flagged; dropdown-validated columns only accept your sheet's own options.

Every upload on record

History shows each rate con, when it was parsed, and the exact row it created, so end-of-week reconciliation takes minutes.

Files don't stick around

Your rate con PDF is deleted right after processing. The extracted load data lives 30 days for your upload history, then it's gone too.

The math dispatchers actually care about

Typing loads is not dispatching

Call it two minutes to retype one rate con: find the PDF, squint at the rate, copy the stops, compute RPM, don't typo the ref number. Now multiply by your board.

FAQ

Fair questions

Does it work with my broker's rate confirmations?

Yes. The AI reads the document itself, not a fixed template. TQL, C.H. Robinson, Coyote, Landstar, small brokerages, even layouts it has never seen before. There's no per-broker setup.

What exactly does it pull out of a rate con?

The load essentials a dispatcher retypes today: line haul rate, pickup and delivery with dates and times, total miles, rate per mile, equipment type, broker name and MC number, reference numbers. Every field is shown to you for review before anything is written.

Will it mess up my existing spreadsheet?

No. Dispatch Sheets AI only appends rows to the tab you choose, and only after you review and confirm them. It never edits or deletes your existing data.

Do I have to change my sheet to match the tool?

The opposite: it adapts to you. Templates map extracted fields to your existing columns, keep your column order, and even respect your data-validation dropdowns (if column F only allows "Dry Van / Reefer / Flatbed", that's all it will write).

What about scanned or photographed rate cons?

Scans and photos go through OCR first, then the same AI extraction. If a field comes back low-confidence, it's flagged for your review instead of being silently written to the sheet.

What happens to my rate cons after parsing?

The uploaded PDF is deleted right after processing completes. The extracted load data is kept for 30 days so your upload history works, then it's automatically deleted. Details in our Privacy Policy.

What Google permissions does the add-on ask for, and why?

Three, and each one does a specific job. See, edit, create and delete your Google Sheets spreadsheets. The add-on reads the header row of the sheet you have open so it can match your columns, then writes the extracted load into the row you pick. Display and run third-party web content in sidebars. The add-on's whole interface is a sidebar inside Google Sheets. See your primary Google Account email address. It identifies your Dispatch Sheets AI account and subscription. We never open spreadsheets you haven't opened yourself, and we don't read the rest of your Drive. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

Your next rate con takes 15 seconds

Install the add-on, open the sidebar in the sheet you already use, and drop in a PDF. That's the whole onboarding.
